Our Vision for NHCV
An Orphanage. A Community. A Family.
New Hope Children’s Village (NHCV), an orphanage located in Kalalushi, Zambia, opened its doors in 2017 when missionaries were moved to help Zambian orphans. They transformed an abandoned structure on an 80-acre property into a home for children, but quickly reached capacity. Wanting to help more children, the Guardians of Hope had a vision of creating an entire community for these children. Expanding NHCV will increase housing and gives the children opportunities that are otherwise unavailable, including:
- an education
- attending college
- being part of the working class
- learning life skills
The Guardians of Hope continues to pray for a way to fulfill the vision of New Hope Children’s Village. Making this community a reality relies on the generous support of donors and we are thankful for the gracious giving of those who share our mission.
Zambia, Africa has nearly 2 million orphans. One life at a time, we are bringing hope to the hopeless.

In addition to funding NHCV, each child who will live there is in need of sponsorship in order to provide for their basic needs, as well as things that will enrich their lives.
